How to Apply
The North London International School has an inclusive entry policy and accepts local and international students with a range of ability. It is however selective in that parents make a conscious decision to choose NLIS because:
- The school is a leading International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. This is a more relevant and highly regarded curriculum that prepares students well for university life and the global workplace.
- The IB is suitable for families who may need to relocate internationally. It is recognised globally and for local families, as it covers all the content of a traditional UK education and then adds more to it.
- The school has a very positive ethos that helps to develop a student’s self confidence and which recognises different learning styles, capabilities and past school experiences.
- The school has small class sizes and individualised programmes that best support effective learning.
- The school has a strong record of success for its students gaining university acceptance.
- The school is linked with The Holmewood School London (THSL), which can provide specialist support for students with specific learning needs.
- The school has excellent opportunities for its students to develop international mindedness, including possibilities for exchange with partner schools around the world.
