Scholarships and Bursaries

 

Scholarships: These are offered for exceptional students in the following categories:

 

Scholarship examinations, auditions and interviews take place in January each year and are applied for the following September. Scholarships remain with the student throughout their time at NLIS, provided that each student is involved, has good conduct and achievement. A scholarship may be withdrawn if there is a lack of participation, concerns over conduct and achievement or unpaid fees. Typically a scholarship award will range from 10% of the fees up to 50%

 

Bursaries: Bursaries are intended as short term financial assistance and are means tested. If offered, a bursary can be reviewed on a term by term basis and are fixed figure amounts.
