The Dwight School NYC: Founded in 1872, The Dwight School is a PreK-12 private international school located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. In 1996, Dwight became the first school in North America to offer the full International Baccalaureate (IB) programme from kindergarten through to grade 12. With the opening of Woodside Preschool in autumn of 2005, Dwight became the first school to offer the IB Primary Years Programme for children ages 2-4. Dwight continues to be a pioneer in international education and today nearly 40 countries are represented in its student body.

Woodside Pre School: Woodside Preschool, The Early Years Program of The Dwight School, provides an authentic learning experience for children to become enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, internationally minded learners and problem solvers. The school offers the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate which combines inquiry and traditional methods. The PYP seeks to unlock the unique potential of the children so that they can become the knowledgeable leaders of tomorrow.
The Dwight International School: Located on Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island British Columbia, Canada, the Dwight International School is the only boarding school in Western Canada that offers the IB and BC curriculum. Partnerships with the Dwight School in New York and The North London International School in England provide opportunities for students to be truly global in their thinking. Joint courses, semester exchanges, service projects and other school trips help connect the Dwight Family of Schools. In doing so, our students learn about the world, from the world.
Dwight International School is a proud supporter of the
Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL). The ICL is a non profit educational organization focused on global youth leadership. Dwight International School has become a HUB for leadership education. In summer 2010, the school will be hosted students from London, USA, China, and all over the world to study and promote youth leadership.
The Dwight School in China: The mission of The Dwight School in China is diplomacy through education. It’s goal is to graduate truly global citizens with a deep appreciation for their shared humanity by building cultural bridges of understanding through premier quality education, philosophy and sports for students in the People’s Republic of China followed by admission into colleges and universities in the United States of America and internationally. The Dwight School in China is a subsidiary of The Dwight School.
The Holmewood School, London (THSL): The Holmewood School, London is a co-educational day school for students aged between 7 and 18. THSL has developed from a private girl’s school to being a traditional preparatory school before being linked to an International Baccalaureate World School and finally evolving as a school for specialised learning. Today THSL has links with schools locally and internationally, and it offers access to an integrated approach to learning.
