Primary Years Programme

Welcome from Primary Years Programme Coordinator, Theresa Gaylor

At The North London International School (NLIS) we are proud to have been authorised to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) since 2004.

NLIS children from Kindergarten through to Year 6 learn through the PYP, which offers a rich and stimulating curriculum designed to generate an enthusiasm for learning and value it as a life-long process.  The PYP focuses on the development of the whole child and addresses social, physical, emotional and cultural needs through a comprehensive inquiry-based programme.

At the heart each of the IB programmes is the IB Learner Profile.  The attributes of which all members of the school community strive to develop within themselves.

Our academic programme is complemented by various field trips relating to the Units of Inquiry and a range of extra-curricular activities that are offered at our school.

The information you will find on our website is a general overview and if you would like further information please contact me at tgaylor@nlis.org.
