Biographical Statement:

I initially trained as a dietician and began my career as a nutrition councillor. I realised I had aspirations to teach while working in a bilingual teaching role in a school for children with specific learning difficulties (London). I completed a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the Roehampton Institute, and worked as a science teacher in a school in West London. I then moved to the Netherlands with my family for nine years. This experience allowed me to gain an insight into international education.  I joined NLIS in 2007 having returned to the UK.
