Biographical Statement:

 
After finishing my BA degree in English Philology in Cádiz, I qualified as a secondary teacher and spent one year teaching in Spain. The following year I was awarded by the Ministerio de Educación Español and the British Council with a FLA Grant to work in the UK. Once in London, I worked as a Foreign Language Assistant in a comprehensive school for two years. Afterwards, I decided to stay longer in the UK and complete a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) course at Kingston University. Since then, I have been working as a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher in London and Surrey. Nowadays, I teach Spanish at The North London International School (NLIS), and I am a Year 8 tutor.
 

Teaching Interests:

 
Teaching beyond the walls by using London as my classroom and linking Spanish with other subject areas.
 

Personal Interests:

 
The arts, reading, cooking, swimming, travelling, learning languages and spending time with family and friends.
