Biographical Statement:

Born in Norway (1974).
After leaving St.Olav vgs. (a specialist Sports College) where I spent my last year planning & supervising PE lessons, excursions (including mountaineering and igloo building) etc. and working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students - I (finally) came to London in 1993.
 
Rudolf Steiner and Montessori studies & work experience.
 
Joined NLIS (then Woodside Park International School) in 2003 and have thoroughly enjoyed working in both Kindergarten and Poppies.
 
Married with one teenage daughter in N20.
 

Teaching Interests:

To see the children grow in confidence and self esteem, and to build great relationships with all the ‘Poppies’ and their parents alike. To encourage everybody to have a go and to try new experiences.

Personal Interests:

Film & music / animal charities and their work, e.g. Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s rehabilitation of dogs / ‘family, friends & weekends’ / walks & play with our own rescue dog and guinea pigs.

To try teaching the children ‘Empathy and Compassion’ but remember your day’s all about how you handle Plan B. / “There’s no such thing as bad weather...”   J
